So we have just gotten out of our OB appointment, and I can definitively say this is our last OB appointment this go round. Everything has been going well but at the ultrasound last week our little guy's fluid level was 10.2 and anything between 5-10 needs to be watched. This week his fluid level was rechecked and he was found to be at 7. Because of the decreased fluid level(not true oligo at this time, but lower than is desired), the decision for induction was made. The baby was put on the monitor and his heart rate stayed between 120-130 and looked good, but he appeared to be sleeping. Pushing on his head made his heart rate react some, but otherwise he was just snoozing.

Jeff inserted a foley bulb(above) to attempt to ripen Laura's cervix. She doesn't seem to like having her cervix checked, but the foley bulb did not seem to be too big of a deal. She does say that she feels like an alien with this thing hanging out of her. (She also said she kind of feels like a boy because of this thing, I wanted to ask if that meant boys were aliens, but decided not to push my luck).

If the cervix ripens and induces labor we could potentially have him today, but if not in labor by tomorrow, we are going to the hospital for 6:30AM for induction. I can't believe we are finally truly going to be a Mommy and a Daddy. We have both felt a little teary since letting this finally sink in. Wow.
Luckily we went to the fire station this morning already and had the car seat checked to insure we had placed it correctly and we had(pretty much, they wanted us to add a noodle underneath to make it more level, which we did, and it now works much better).
Other than that, now its time to let family know he's coming and for us to go get all of our stuff ready for today or tomorrow. Charge camera batteries, etc.
Again, we can't wait to share him with all of you and we will keep you posted. Love you.
