So we awoke at 4AM today with excitement knowing that the little man would be born today. Laura got up and watched The Bachelor and I went down stairs and watch the RedSox whoop up on the Yankees and then it was time to go. We took this picture above as our last picture at the house prior to becoming parents. 
Laura was contracting off and on last evening and did not really like the whole contraction thing. When we got to the hospital her cervix was dilated to 5cm and she was given an epidural and then her water was broken. Unfortunately the epidural did not take and she had to get another one, which is where we are right now. Last check was 6cm and she is quite comfortable.
Lloyd, Anne, and Katherine are present for the event, and of course Jeff has been here and will be returning soon.
