We have had a somewhat eventful week, but unfortunately really no new pics. Today was eventful in its own right as Rich, one of my roommates from Boston that I have not seen since the wedding came down to visit for a quick lunch stop. It was great to see him again and we went into Colonial Williamsburg for a bite to eat and just to catch up. He unfortunately had to take off again quickly but it was great to see an old friend.
We had a Speedy escape today. I had set up a new cage for him but it was not fully finished and he engineered a way out but luckily Laura found him galloping across the lawn 2 houses away. He will not be back in the new pen for a little while.
I also had a brilliant excuse from someone on why their drug test could not have been positive for cocaine. He told me he had taken the urine from his 2.5 year old and substituted the urine specimen. So all of a sudden, not only does he lose his job but now CSB comes to visit him for endangering a child. Great excuse choice.
Onto better news, Jackson has grown big! My unofficial measurement this week has him at 14lbs 13oz. Wow! He's almost big enough to ride the rides at Busch Gardens.
He's awful good but he gets his moments of fussiness and they take a while to clear but its gotta be hard growing so quickly.
